SCHEDULE 1 – Licence4Me Payment Policy
All terms defined in the Driving Instructor Terms and Conditions and the Learner Terms and Conditions have the same meaning as set out there and are incorporated into this Payment Policy.
Parties
This Licence4Me Payment Policy is binding on each Driving Instructor and Learner, and is a supplementary schedule to the Driving Instructor Terms and Conditions and the Learner Terms and Conditions respectively.
Booking Prices

The price for a lesson or driving test (‘booking’) is set by the Driving Instructor and may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, pick-up location of the Learner, the vehicle transmission, the duration of the booking, the service being provided, and the particular Driving Instructor selected.
- A Learner will be notified of the total price per booking, and must confirm the total price for each transaction before payment will be made to the Driving Instructor.
- A Driving Instructor may offer Learners a discount by setting up lesson packages, allowing a Learner to purchase more than one Driving Lesson at a time.
Cancellations, failure to attend and rescheduling

Within 24 hours of a booking start time, a Learner cannot cancel or reschedule a booking within the Technology. Licence4Me will assume the booking is proceeding, and will facilitate the payment of the booking from the Learner to the Driving Instructor, via Stripe. Any cancellation made by a Learner within 24 hours of a booking start time is considered a late cancellation.
- Under the late cancellation policy, the Driving Instructor will receive full payment for the lesson. The Driving Instructor may elect to waive the cancellation fee by providing the Learner with a rescheduled lesson at no charge.

If a Learner fails to attend a booking, the Driving Instructor will receive full payment for the booking.
Automated Booking Payment
- Payment for lessons and driving tests are automatically paid to the Driving Instructor from the credit card used by the person who made the booking on the morning of the date of the booking.
Refunds for Bookings
- From time to time, Licence4Me may receive requests to refund payments made to a Driving Instructor for bookings by a Learner.
- Licence4Me will investigate all refund requests and, at its sole discretion, make a determination whether a refund should be paid.

At its sole discretion, and subject to the Learner Terms and Conditions and the Driving Instructor Terms and Conditions, Licence4Me may request that a Driving Instructor provide a learner with a full refund on one of the following situations -
- it is brought to Licence4Me’s attention that the payment received was due to fraudulent activity or was otherwise not authorised by the cardholder;
- the Driving Instructor received payment for a booking that the Learner did not receive due to a fault on the part of the Driving Instructor; or
- a complaint is received and it is determined that the Driving Instructor breached the Driving Instructor Terms and Conditions.
